Take part in the EUIV role-playing experience at a magnificent historical location. Since 2017 EUIV The Grandest Lan Party event has introduced fans to completely new ways of playing the Grandest Grand Strategy Game. Together, with your friends and other fans, you can create the greatest story possible, streamed live to the world.

The Grandest LAN takes place at historic Czocha Castle in southwestern Poland. You will play, eat, sleep and party in this eclectic modern palace. The entire building is reserved for our use, so everyone you meet will be a part of the experience. Enjoy the historic location as well as the very modern kilometers of cables and dozens of computers.

The event will have 96 participants divided into teams of three, each of which will play one nation. Each team member will play a vital role in surviving the cutthroat world of early modern diplomacy, making alliances and conducting intelligence as well as actually playing the game. And don’t worry - there is plenty of room for rest, recuperation and beer.

The Grandest LAN is not designed as a competitive event as much as it is a role-playing one. Some nations will rise, and some will fall, but the goal is to tell a new and exciting story that emphasizes the creativity and dramatic flavor that Paradox games and Paradox fans are famous for.

To create an amazing story, we  add an additional layer to the regular multiplayer session of EUIV. 

This multiplayer session includes special rules that will apply to everyone, and encourage teams to conduct diplomacy in person,  meeting your opponents in the elegant rooms of Moszna castle. The great halls of the palace are the perfect place to plot, bribe, scheme, intimidate and make pacts with other nations.

We will also introduce a Roleplaying element to the scenario - by creating a story that casts you as the heroes. The story will be driven by Characters - our actors playing certain roles in the scenario - at the physical location and in the Multiplayer session. 

It will be up to you how much you want to get involved with interacting with them. 

All information about newly introduced rules, roleplay, gamemasters, and change to the default setup of the game will be described in the Rulebook, which will be made available to you before the event.
