Mattias Lilja appointed as Deputy CEO of Paradox Interactive

Mattias Lilja has been appointed as Deputy CEO of Paradox Interactive, and will assume the role immediately. As Deputy CEO, Mattias will drive operational development and will support efforts within the company’s strategic focus areas.

That requires us to continue building a solid operational foundation while intensifying strategic efforts. With his broad experience within both game and operational development, Mattias is an important piece of the puzzle in taking our next step as a company,” said Fredrik Wester, CEO of Paradox Interactive.

Mattias Lilja started at Paradox Interactive 2009. Among other things, he has held the positions of Executive Producer, Head of Studio, EVP of Studios, and Chief Operating Officer. Most recently, he held the role as Chief of Staff for Paradox Interactive, responsible for HR, Talent Acquisition and Communications, areas that will continue to be a part of his new role at the company.
